Kathrin Bauer was born in 1986 and has been living on Mallorca since 2019. She is the heart of the VHD Dental Clinic. As a qualified dental administrative assistant, dental consultant, certified emergency medical technician, and hygiene coordinator, she has built the clinic together with Dr. Víctor J. Hernández Darias from the very beginning and now leads it as practice manager (IHK-certified).

Kathrin is in charge of the clinic’s entire organization. With her extensive expertise, she advises patients on alternative treatment options and coordinates both individual and group prophylaxis for adults and children. Beyond that, she also assists Dr. Hernández chairside during complex procedures such as prosthetics, surgery, and implant treatments. Thanks to her experience and sensitivity, she is a trusted and essential part of the team.

In addition, Kathrin runs her own independent consulting service called Smile Support (www.kbsmilesupport.com), offering guidance to patients beyond the VHD clinic. She helps especially with understanding treatment costs, communicating with Spanish dentists, and navigating treatment plans. When not in the clinic, Kathrin enjoys the natural beauty of Mallorca with her dog or travels to visit her family in Germany.
